Newcastle Gang Show 2020
Where: The People's Theatre, Heaton.

Newcastle Gang Show is a family variety show featuring Scouts and Guides from across the City of Newcastle and members further afield from Northumberland Scout County. The aim of the show is to give young people the opportunity to develop theatre skills and perform on a professional stage, in front of a live audience. For some this is a one in a life time opportunity helping to build confidence, make new friends and have fun.

The 100 plus average cast is made up of young people who are members of the Scouting and Guiding who perform a wide mix of song, dance and comedy sketches for the local community to enjoy. Our modern Gang Shows include a wide range of music, from entry's in the charts today to Ralph Reader's traditional songs.

The show week is Tue 14th to Sat 18th April 2020 at The People's Theatre, Heaton.
Gilwell 24
Where: Gilwell, London

I am excited to let you know that Northumberland County Scouts are taking Explorers to Gilwell 24!

We have struggled in the past to go to this event due to numbers, timing and leader availability. The county are providing transport, leaders and catering for the event and an amazing cost of £65.

The County are using an online booking system, in which you have to pay upfront for your place. You can only book one person at a time. So please if you are to attend, say you are 'going' on OSM so we know who of our unit are attending. There are only 100 spaces available and so if you are interested I would be quick. We are however aware that not everyone would be able to do this and so if you are interested please let me know and we will come to a payment arrangement. We would hate for anyone to miss out on such an amazing opportunity and camp.

Gilwell 24 is like no other camp.... it is what it says on the tin. Basically it is fitting in as much or as little activities ranging from wate
